After selling the condominiums at 270 Valencia, Brian Spiers retained ownership of the 3,700 square foot ground floor commercial space. In July 2007, Brian commenced development of a new restaurant space called Conduit. Brian was the owner as well as the builder of the new restaurant space, which won numerous architectural awards for the Stanley Saitowitz design. Conduit opened in late 2007 and received very positive reviews. Unfortunately, due to the economic downturn, Brian had to close Conduit in January 2010. Brian still owns the retail space where another restaurant is currently the tenant.
