Brian Spiers acquired 949 Post Street in early 2002 and finalized the entitlements for a 24-unit low-income senior apartment building. Brian Spiers Construction Inc. built a type 5 four - story wood structure over a type 1 concrete ground floor in 2003. Brian (949 Post Street LLC) held the property as an investment until selling the building in 2008. Brian formed a partnership with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Housing and Urban Health Dept. to place low-income seniors many of them from Laguna Honda Hospital into the apartments.
