Brian Spiers
Brian is a native San Franciscan who is a highly experienced local business owner and real estate developer. His background includes over 40 years in the construction field including 30 years as a General Contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area. Brian has vast experience building high-rise, mid-rise and wood frame construction projects. Since starting his own development company - Mr. Spiers has purchased, entitled and built numerous projects in San Francisco, including custom single-family homes, restaurants, senior housing apartments and mixed-use condominium buildings.
Brian has been very successful in finding unique development opportunities for high-density, mixed-use, urban infill projects in San Francisco. In addition, he has tremendous experience and has been very successful gaining entitlements in San Francisco’s challenging political environment. Brian has demonstrated a willingness to work with planners, neighborhood groups and local politicians to build consensus while still achieving approvals for financially viable developments with bold architectural design.
In addition to his development company, Brian also owns the Lucky 13 Bar on Market Street and the Bitter End Bar and Grill on Clement Street. Mr. Spiers also owns and manages the ground floor commercial spaces in his developments at 270 Valencia Street and both 1998 and 1600 Market Street.
Brian serves on the Board of Trustees at his alma mater Riordan High School. Brian and his wife Debi have also been active as volunteers with Saint Ignatius High School, Little Sisters of the Poor/Saint Anne’s Home and Family House.
Sean Spiers
Sean graduated from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.
After graduating, Sean worked for Webcor Builders as a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager on multiple large-scale projects in the Bay Area. Sean had active roles in estimation, contract buyout, cost control, MEP coordination, sustainability, jobsite documentation, and scheduling.
Sean began working for Brian Spiers Development in early 2017 once the 2100 Market Street Project broke ground. Sean is working as a Project Manager with active roles in contract buyout, scheduling, cost control, and jobsite documentation.
